This highly qualified and board-certified expert currently serves as Assistant Professor of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at a major medical university and as Attending Surgeon for a major university medical center and a children's hospital. He received a B.S. from Stanford University and a M.D. from the University of California in San Francisco. Board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery, he finished two fellowships in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery and Sports Medicine at both Harvard Medical School and the University of Zurich. Elected as a Fellow to both the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons, he previously worked in various positions for Kaiser Permanente including Director of Occupational Orthopaedic Surgery Service and Chief of the Regional Shoulder/Elbow Peer Group. He also was Associate Team Orthopaedic Surgeon for the San Jose State University Athletics program. He specializes in the comprehensive treatment of shoulder disorders, including reconstruction, joint replacement, sports injuries, arthroscopy, trauma, and revision surgery.
