Expert Qualifications
This highly-qualified expert has over 30 years of experience in the field of psychiatry. She earned her BA in mathematics from the State University of New York, her JD from Boston College, and her MD from Brown University, where she also completed an internship in internal medicine and a residency in psychiatry. She is triple board-certified in psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, and addiction psychiatry and is active in her field as a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law, and the Association of Women Psychiatrists. She formerly served as the director of clinical psychiatry services at Saint Elizabeth's Medical Center, as the vice president of behavioral health at Care New England, and as the CEO and director of alcohol and drug inpatient services at Butler Hospital. In addition, she formerly served as a clinical associate professor of psychiatry at Brown University and as an assistant professor of psychiatry at Tufts University. This expert is currently the senior vice president of education and training at a health system in New England and a clinical professor of psychiatry at an Ivy League university.
