This expert has been practicing in a clinical setting for over 30 years. She has worked in various hospitals in a wide array of roles that has prepared her for her current position as Director. Currently, she works in an emergency department where about 20% of the patients are pediatric, and the majority of those use the emergency department as a clinic. She has won many awards for her excellence in pediatric clinical care, and has published on several pediatric subjects in magazines, hospital literature, and AACN literature. Additionally, she has presented to her peers, and is currently part of numerous professional affiliations, such as the National Emergency Nurses Association at consensus council on Emergency Preparedness for pediatrics.
