This highly qualified expert earned her BS in nursing from the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and her MS in nursing from the Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a certified pediatric and pediatric oncology nurse and is a certified chemo/biotherapy provider course instructor with the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses. She formerly served as a clinical nurse, nurse manager, and clinical coordinator at the Children's Hospital of Richmond. She currently serves as the unit based advanced nursing education specialist for the Cancer & Blood Disorders Institute at a university affiliated children's hospital in Florida. In this role, she educates and trains nurses, assists the Vascular Access Team and Infusion Center, and consults staff about pediatric chemotherapy and biotherapy. Knowledgeable in all care aspects including policies, procedures, equipment, regulatory requirements and orientation.
