Expert Qualifications
Dr. Prasadarao B. Mukkamala has over 45 years of experience in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He earned his MBBS from Rangaraya Medical College and his MS from Guntur Medical College, followed by postdoctoral training in General Surgery at Government General Hospital. He completed an internship in General Surgery at Elmhurst Hospital Center before completing his first residency in General Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital and his second residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Elmhurst Hospital Center. Today, he is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Formerly, this expert held roles as a Medical Director and Physiatrist at West Virginia Division of Rehabilitation Service, as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Community Medicine and Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopedics, both at West Virginia University School of Medicine. Currently, he is in private practice with a focus on Workers Compensation evaluations.
