This highly qualified and double board certified pulmonologist has advanced training in pulmonary and critical care. Currently, he is a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellow at the University of Illinois and is board certified in Pulmonary Medicine and Internal Medicine. He completed residency training in internal medicine at George Washington University, a fellowship training in pediatric sleep medicine and neuroscience, and a fellowship training in infectious diseases at the University of Louisville. He earned his MD at the Qazvin University of Medical Science and MPH at the University of Tehran in Iran.
This expert is a member of a number of professional organizations and is a frequently invited guest speaker at major pulmonary conferences. He has authored 80+ publications and sits on the editorial board and serves as a reviewer for numerous peer reviewed journals. Prior to his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care, this expert held several senior positions abroad in the pulmonary field. He served as the Head of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Infections Unit, Department of Medicine, National Research Institute of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease, Director of Internal Medicine Internship Program, National Research Institute of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease, and Assistant Professor of Medicine National Research Institute of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease.
