Expert Qualifications
This board-certified radiation oncology expert is skilled at delivering all types of radiation therapy, including stereotactic radiation, brachytherapy, proton therapy, and radionuclides. He earned his BS in chemistry and biology from Stanford University, his PhD in chemistry from UC Berkeley, and his MD from Johns Hopkins University. He also completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Maryland and both a residency and clinical fellowship in radiation oncology through the Harvard University Radiation Oncology Program. This expert has extensive research experience, having served as a clinical researcher in the department of radiation oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and as a research fellow in the departments of radiology and systems biology at Harvard Medical School. He has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and has authored multiple scientific textbooks. Currently, this expert serves as an assistant professor of radiation medicine at a university in Oregon, having formerly served as a radiation oncologist and the medical director of Compass Oncology, also based in Oregon.
