Expert Qualifications
Dr. Rawson L. Wood has over 30 years of experience in Medicine and over five in Accident Reconstruction. He earned his BS in Aeronautical Engineering and MS in Aeronautical Sciences from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He earned his MD from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, and his MPH from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed an Internship at Malcolm Grow Medical Clinics and Surgery Center and a Residency in Aerospace Medicine at the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine. Today, this expert is board certified in Occupational Medicine and Aerospace Medicine. He is also certified as an Aviation Medical Examiner and Commercial Pilot by Federal Aviation Administration and Reconstructionist by Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstructionist. Formerly, this expert served in the United States Air Force for over twenty years. Roles he held included a 7th Air Force Surgeon and Hospital Commander in the 51st Medical Group at Osan Air Base, and as Hospital Commander of the 60th Medical Group at Travis Air Force Base. Currently, he serves as a Consultant at Biodynamic Research Corporation.
