Expert Qualifications
This highly-qualified expert in neuropsychiatry and behavioral neurology earned his MD from Buenos Aires University College of Medicine, where he remained to complete a residency in clinical neurology. He then completed a second residency in clinical psychiatry and a fellowship in neuropsychiatry at the University of Iowa. Today, he is board certified in psychiatry, behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry. He remains active in his field as a member of the American Neuropsychiatric Association, the American Behavioral Neurology Society, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Formerly, this expert served as an assistant professor, associate professor and professor of psychiatry at the University of Iowa, where he also was the director of the magnetic brain stimulation laboratory. Additionally, this expert served as the medical director of the TBI center for excellence affiliated with the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Currently, this expert is the director of neuropsychiatry and a professor of psychiatry at a medical college in Texas and serves as the director of traumatic brain injury research at a Houston research center.
