Expert Qualifications
Mr. R. Dean Wingo has over 48 years of experience in the field of Industrial Hygiene and OSHA Safety. He earned his BS in Biology and Chemistry from Cameron University and his MS in Environmental Science from the University of Oklahoma. For over three decades he worked for OSHA, serving as an Assistant Area Director in the Dallas Area Office, the OSHA Area Director for the Fort Worth Area Office, and as the Assistant Regional Administrator for the Dallas Regional Office. During his tenure, he led inspection efforts for the BP Refinery explosion 2005, as well as the OSHA response for Response Worker Safety protections during Hurricanes Katrina and Rita for Louisiana and Texas. His latest role was as a Senior Advisor of the OSHA Education Center at the University of Texas Arlington. He now serves as an Expert Witness for OSHA, Industrial Hygiene, and Safety matters.
