Dr. Richard P. Dutton has 32 years of experience in the field of Anesthesiology. He earned his BA from Harvard University, his MD from the Tufts University School of Medicine, and his MBA from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center before completing a residency in Anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Anesthesiology and Clinical Informatics. Formerly, this expert served as a Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and as the Chief of Trauma Anesthesiology and Clinical Operations at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. He was also the Chief Quality Officer for the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Founding Executive Director of the Anesthesia Quality Institute. He currently serves as the Chief Quality Officer of US Anesthesia Partners, where he also serves as an Anesthesiologist. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the Texas A&M School of Medicine.
