Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified expert has 20 years of experience as a water quality-focused researcher and consultant. He earned his BA in biological sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and his PhD in hydrologic sciences from the University of California, Davis. He remains active in his field as a member of the American Geophysical Union and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. This expert has extensive project experience supporting government-based agencies, including the United States Geological Survey, the US Department of Energy and various state agencies. He has provided water quality-related analysis and evaluations for water treatment and regulatory compliance projects. Formerly, this expert served as a contractor with the California Energy Commission and was a water specialist with the National Energy Technology Laboratory and Booz Allen Hamilton. Currently, he is a consultant with a private consultancy in Oregon, where he consults with water purveyors, suppliers, treatment providers, and federal agencies to better manage water supplies and quality.
