Expert Qualifications
Dr. Robert J. Noecker has 28 years of experience in the field of Ophthalmology. He earned his BS in Material Science and Engineering, Biology, and Humanities from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, his MD from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, and his MBA from the University of Arizona. After completing an internship in Internal Medicine at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, he completed a residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Arizona Health Sciences and a fellowship in Glaucoma at New England Eye Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Ophthalmology through the American Board of Ophthalmology. Formerly, this expert served as a Professor of Opthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and as Vice Chair of Information Technology and International Affairs at the UPMC Eye Center. He currently serves as a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University and as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Yale School of Medicine. He is also a Staff Physician at Hartford Hospital and St. Vincent's Medical Center, as well as an Ophthalmologist with Ophthalmic Consultants of Connecticut, P.C.
