Expert Qualifications
This expert has decades of experience in medical imaging research, specifically ultrasound imaging. He received his BS and MS in electrical engineering from Cornell, followed by his PhD in communications engineering. He was a member of the technical staff at Sandia Laboratories before serving as an officer in the US Air Force. He served on the faculty of the University of Rochester for over three decades, where he was actively involved in the development of ultrasound techniques as a diagnostic tool in medicine, particularly quantitative imaging techniques. He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in electronics, signal processing and medical diagnoses in relation to ultrasounds. He is currently an Arthur Gould Yates professor of engineering at a prominent university in New York, and he also owns his own engineering and research firm.
