Expert Qualifications
This licensed correctional health care professional has 20 years of experience in the field. He received his MPH in community health and preventive medicine from Northwestern University and his MD from Southern Illinois University. He went on to complete his residency in family medicine at SIU Affiliated Hospitals and is board certified in family medicine. He formerly owned a private family medicine practice and served as a physician with the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services. He also served as the duty physician at Menard Correctional Facility, as the medical director of Graham Correctional Center, and as the corporate medical director of Advanced Correctional Healthcare. This expert is currently the Illinois lead regional medical director for a correctional health system contractor.
