Expert Qualifications
Dr. Ryan R. Davies has 15 years of experience in the field of Cardiothoracic Surgery. He earned his BA in Architecture from Yale University and his MD from the Yale University School of Medicine. After completing an internship in Surgery and a residency in General Surgery, he went on to complete a second residency in Thoracic Surgery and a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery, all at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Today, this expert is board-certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery, Congenital Cardiac Surgery, and Surgery. Formerly, he served as an Attending Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgeon at the Nemours Children's Hospital and as an Associate Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College. Currently, this expert serves as an Associate Professor of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at the UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is also the Surgical Director of Pediatric Heart Transplant and Mechanical Circulatory Support and an Attending Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgeon at the Children's Medical Center Dallas.
