Expert Qualifications
This expert registered nurse is certified in Infection Control and Epidemiology by the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology. After earning her BSN from Carson Newman University, she previously served as a Registered Nurse at East Tennessee Children's Hospital and has been a public service as an Arbovirus Surveillance Coordinator for the Tennessee Department of Health and a Child Safety Nurse for the Tennessee Department of Children's Services. Having previously worked as an Infection Control Specialist at the University of Tennessee, she has for the past several years ensured patient safety as an Infection Control Manager at a children's hospital in the Southeast.
