Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified expert is both a practicing family medicine physician and an experienced hospital administrator. She received her BS from Florida Atlantic University, her MHA from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and her MD from the University of Florida. She then completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Miami. She remains active in her field with several publications and as a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians as well as the American Association of Physician Leadership. In the past, she has held several academic roles as an assistant professor of family medicine at universities throughout the southeast. She has also served as chief medical officer of Danville Regional Medical Center, the CMO of the South Central Virginia Market of LifePoint Hospitals and the CMO of Bon Secours St. Francis Health System. Currently, she is an assistant professor of family medicine at a medical school in SC as well as the ambulatory chief medical officer of a large health system in northern South Carolina.
