This extremely qualified expert is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology and has been practicing for 39+ years. He completed both his internship and residency trainings at Long Island Jewish-Hillside Medical Center and his fellowship training in theumatology and immunology at the University of Pittsburgh. He is a past president of the Scleroderma Clinical Trials Consortium and a fellow at the American College of Physicians, the American College of Angiology and the American College of Rheumatology. He has published 235+ peer-reviewed journal articles and serves in the editorial boards of 13 renowned medical journals. He lectures both nationally and internationally and has been listed in "Who's Who in America" for 29 consecutive years, as well as in "Best Doctors in America" for 24 consecutive years. He is the former director of the Scleroderma Program and the former chief of rheumatology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and the former director of the Clinical Research Center at the NJ Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine. He is also the former director of the Scleroderma Program at the University of Michigan. Currently, he is the founder and principal of a major scleroderma consulting firm.
