Expert Qualifications
Dr. Scott T. Trexler has 11 years of experience in the field of Trauma Surgery. He earned his BS in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University and his MD from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. After completing both an internship and residency in General Surgery at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, he went on to complete fellowships in Surgical Critical Care and Trauma and Acute Care Surgery, respectively, at Brooke Army Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. Formerly, this expert served as the Active Chief of Trauma and Surgical Critical Care and as the Medical Director of Trauma at Brooke Army Medical Center. He currently serves as a Staff Surgeon at Brooke Army Medical Center and as a Surgeon with Methodist Physician Practices, PLLC.
