This expert has 30 years of experience in the billing and coding industry and is a Certified Coding Specialist. After receiving her certification from Maygrove College, she went on to hold various billing and auditing positions at medical centers and insurance companies. In these roles, she performed quality audits, reviewed medical records, and clarified coding issues. Formerly, she was a medical coding analyst at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and a claims supervisor for Molina Healthcare. Currently, she is a process lead at an IT company in Michigan.
