Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified expert has over 25 years of experience in the of public health law. She received her BA in English literature from Wellesley College, and her JD from Harvard Law School. She also received an LL.M. in health law from the University of Houston Law Center and an SJD from Case Western Reserve University Law School. She is very active in her field as a member of several professional organizations like the Board of Scientific Counselors and the Institute of Medicine. She is also prominent in academia, having published 3 books and 61 scholarly articles, she was the 9th most cited health law expert in the US from 2016-2020. Formerly, she has served as both a visiting and distinguished scholar for the CDC and the Emory University School of Law. More recently, she held the roles of assistant and associate professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Today, this expert is the co-director of a prominent law medicine center, and a professor of bioethics, both at a university in Ohio.
