Expert Qualifications
This expert has over a decade of experience in psychiatry. She obtained her MD at Federal University of Parana in Brazil, and then went on to complete her residency in psychiatry at Texas Tech University, as well as her fellowship in forensic psychiatry at the University of Hawaii. She previously served as an attending psychiatrist at the Behavioral Health Center and at the Queens Inpatient Crisis Unit. She was also an assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of Hawaii. She is now an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at a university in Hawaii, as well as a psychiatrist at a nearby private practice.
