Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified expert is board-certified in both general and plastic surgery. He earned a BS in cybernetics from the University of California Los Angeles and an MD from the University of California San Diego. He went on to complete a residency in surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a research fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of California San Diego, and an additional fellowship in plastic surgery at the University of Alabama Birmingham. He is active in his field as the author of numerous peer-reviewed publications and as a member of the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists. Formerly, this expert co-founded and co-directed the surgery research associate program at Cedars-Sinai/UCLA. Currently, this expert is the director of plastic, hand, and reconstructive surgery at three medical centers in Southern California. In addition, he is a plastic surgeon at a well-regarded medical center, the director of a center for reconstruction and wound care, and a plastic surgeon in private practice, all also located in southern California.
