Expert Qualifications
Dr. Stephen Abel has over 39 years of experience in the field of Periodontics. He earned his BA in Biology from Harvard University and his MS in Dentistry from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. He completed his DDS from New York University. Today, this expert is a Periodontist by the American Board of Periodontology. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Associate Dean of Community and Professional Initiatives at the UB School of Dental Medicine and as a Professor of Oral Diagnostic Sciences at NSU College of Dental Medicine. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor of Periodontics, as the Associate Dean Emeritus and Senior Director of Student, Community, and Professional Initiatives at UB School of Dental Medicine.
