Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified expert has over 20 years of burn medicine experience. He first earned his BS in physical education from Towson University before earning his MD from St. George's University. He then went on to complete his transitional residency, residency as an OB/GYN, and fellowship in trauma and surgical critical care at the University of Maryland. This expert is board certified in internal medicine and neurocritical care and is a member of the American Burn Association along with numerous other professional affiliations. Throughout his early career, he served as an attending physician in critical care at numerous centers and hospitals including Maryland General Hospital, Prince George's Hospital Center, Forbes Regional Hospital Pittsburgh, Mercy Health System, Holy Cross Hospital, Bon Secours Hospital, and Johns Hopkins University. He also fulfilled his role as an assistant professor of trauma medicine at the University of Maryland, an assistant professor of anesthesiology and adult critical care at Johns Hopkins University, and an assistant professor of surgery and burn surgery at Johns Hopkins University. Other positions he held include director of critical care services at James Lawrence Kernan Hospital, chairman of critical care attending at the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center, and clinical associate professor of anesthesiology and adult critical care at Johns Hopkins University. Currently, he serves as an attending physician in critical care at a university in Maryland, a university-affiliated hospital in Maryland, and a hospital center in Maryland. He also currently serves as the director of critical care medicine at a hospital center in Maryland.
