Expert Qualifications
This board certified expert has over forty years of experience in the field of endocrinology and metabolism. He received his BA at the University of Rochester and his MD at New York University. He then completed his internship and residency at the North Carolina Memorial and his fellowship in endocrinology at the University of North Carolina. This expert is a member of several professional organizations, including the Endocrine Society, the Louisiana State Medical Society, the American Federation for Clinical Research, and the American Heart Association. He has been awarded numerous honors, grants, and awards, has published extensively and sits on multiple editorial boards and committees He was previously a professor, chief, and chairman of the endocrinology and metabolism department at Lousiana State University. He is currently a professor of endocrinology and metabolism at a university in LA.
