Expert Qualifications
Dr. Steven O. Lestrud has 25 years of experience in the field of Pediatric Pulmonology and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. He earned his BA from the University of Tennessee and his MD from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine. After completing his residency in Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina, he went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care and Pediatric Pulmonary at McGaw Medical Center. Today, this expert is board-certified in Pediatrics, Critical Care Medicine, and Pediatric Pulmonology. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He also serves as an Attending Physician in the Divisions of Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine and as the Medical Director of Respiratory Care at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.
