Dr. Steven R. Levine has 36 years of experience in the field of Neurology. He earned his BS from the University of Michigan and his MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin. After completing his internship in Internal Medicine at Sinai-Grace Hospital and his residency in Neurology at the University of Michigan Medical Center, he went on to complete his fellowship in Cerebrovascular Diseases and Stroke at Henry Ford Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Formerly, this expert held roles as a Professor of Neurology and the Director of Cerebrovascular Education at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and as Director of the Stroke Center at Mount Sinai Queens. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Regional Stroke Program, as a Distinguished Professor of Neurology and Emergency Medicine, and as the Executive Vice Chairman of the Department of Neurology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. He also works as an Attending Physician and as Chief of the Department of Neurology at the University Hospital of Brooklyn.
