Expert Qualifications
This highly-qualified pulmonary disease physician has over 20 years of experience in his field. He earned his BA from the University of Mississippi and his MD from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. After completing his internship in internal medicine and his residency in internal medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, this expert went on to complete two prestigious fellowships in critical care medicine and pulmonary disease at Louisiana State University Medical Center. He is active in his field as a member of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Thoracic Society. In addition, he has published over 10 peer-reviewed journal articles in his field. Formerly, he served as a medical director of chronic ventilator and tracheostomy at the Bill-Dora Extended Care Facility and as a medical director of intermediate critical care at the Regency Hospital. He has maintained his position as a pulmonary medicine physician at an outpatient clinic in Southern Mississippi for over 20 years. He is also currently a medical director of critical care services and a medical director of respiratory therapy at a general hospital in Missippi as well as an adjunct clinical professor of pulmonary medicine at a school for osteopathic medicine in the area.
