He earned his BS in hotel administration from Cornell University, his MS in hospitality management from Florida International University, and is currently working on his PhD in management strategy in hospitality and tourism management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. This expert stays active in his industry as a member of mutiple organizations, including the Society for Food Service Management and the National Restaurant Association. He has experience as the former director of food and beverage at The Regency Hotel, Marriott's Essex House, and the Harvard Club of New York. This expert also formerly served as manager of management consulting at Laventhol & Horwath in New York, director of The Upjohn Pharmaceutical Company in Michigan. His teaching experience includes positions as an adjunct lecturer at New York University and Florida International University, an instructor at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and a senior lecturer of management strategy at Hotelschool The Hague in The Netherlands. Currently, this expert is president of a management consulting firm in New York providing services to the hospitality industry and as a professor of international business at a large public university in Virginia.
