Expert Qualifications
This highly-qualified pediatric endocrinologist has almost two decades of experience in the field. She earned her BA from the University of California, Berkeley and her MD from the Medical College of Pennsylvania. She went on to complete two residencies in pediatrics from the University of California, San Diego and Johns Hopkins University, as well as two prestigious fellowships: one in pediatric endocrinology at Johns Hopkins University and the second in adult clinical endocrinology at the National Institutes of Health. This expert is an active member of the Pediatric Endocrine Society and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and has published over 50 articles, abstracts and book chapters on topics in the field. Currently, she serves as an associate clinical professor of pediatrics at a major medical university as well as a physician in the pediatric endocrinology departments of two major hospitals in Southern California.
