This highly qualified inpatient rehabilitation facility administrator has 20 years of experience in her field. After earning her BS in physical therapy from the University of Florida she went on to earn her MBA at Florida Atlantic University. She is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a recognized national expert in post-acute care quality and utilization. She has published 1 peer-reviewed article and has presented at various rehabilitation administrators workshops across the country. She is a board member and chair of the quality committee of the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association and an active administrative surveyor for the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. In this role, she manages a team of surveyors conducting onsite visits to organizations seeking CARF accreditation. She formerly served as the compliance manager and director of rehabilitation compliance at Carolinas Rehabilitation Mercy. Currently, this expert is an independent consultant providing onsite review and quality reporting of rehab facilities. She is also currently a VP and administrator at an inpatient rehabilitation facility that specializes in brain and spinal cord injury in NC.
