Dr. Timothy R. Deer has 29 years of experience in the field of Pain Medicine. He earned his BS in Biology from the West Virginia University Institute of Technology and his MD from the West Virginia University School of Medicine. After completing an internship in Internal Medicine and a residency in Anesthesiology through the University of Virginia Health System, he went on to complete a fellowship in Pain Management at the UVA Pain Management Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Anesthesiology and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine. Formerly, this expert served as the Clinical Director of Pain Management at Charleston Area Medical Center and as the President of Center for Pain Relief at St. Mary's P.C. He was also a Courtesy Clinical Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at the West Virginia University School of Medicine. He currently serves as a Pain Medicine Physician at CAMC Teays Valley Hospital, Thomas Memorial Hospital, and Saint Francis Hospital. He is also the Medical Director of Pain Management at Saint Francis Hospital and a Courtesy Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology at the West Virginia University School of Medicine. Moreover, he is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Center for Pain Relief, Inc.
