Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified expert has nearly a decade of experience as an orthopedic surgeon specializing in surgery of the hand. He earned his BS in biochemistry from Hope College and then earned his MD and PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology from Indiana University. He then completed an internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Virginia, followed by a fellowship in surgery of the hand at the Curtis National Hand Center at Union Memorial Hospital. Today this expert is board-certified in orthopedic surgery with a subspecialty certification in surgery of the hand. He is active in his field as a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery as well as the American Medical Association. Currently, he is serving as an orthopedic surgeon at an orthopedic and sports medicine facility adjacent to a Wellstar hospital in Georgia.
