He earned a BS in biochemistry from the University of Victoria, an MA in transpersonal counseling psychology at Naropa University, and an MBA in biotechnology at the University of Toronto. This expert is active in his field as a member of several professional associations including the Association of University Technology Managers. Formerly, this expert worked as an associate in the research alliances division of GlaxoSmithKline. He then went on to become a technology transfer senior officer at the University of British Columbia. Following this, he joined the University of Colorado Boulder in their venture partners section as a licensing associate and went on to hold roles as a senior licensing manager and associate director. Currently, this expert is a managing director of the venture partners division and the assistant vice-chancellor of research and innovation at a university in Colorado.
