Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified orthopedic surgeon earned his BS in mathematics and sciences from St Louis de Gonzague and his MD from Descartes Paris University, both located in France. After completing his residency in surgery at Hôpitaux de Paris, this expert went on to complete a fellowship in orthopedic surgery at Montreal General Hospital in Canada and a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital in France. Today, this expert is board certified as an orthopedic surgeon in France and Canada. He is active in his field as a member of numerous medical societies including the Scoliosis Research Society, the American College of Spinal Surgery, and the North American Spine Society. He has published over 100 journal articles, abstracts, and has given numerous lectures and presentations nationally and internationally. Formerly, this expert held roles as a clinical assistant professor and associate professor of orthopedic surgery at McGill University in Canada, as an orthopedic surgeon at Montreal Children's Hospital, and as an orthopedic consultant at Shriner's Hospital. He then held positions as a professor of orthopedics and neurosurgery, the director of the spine fellowship, and the department head of scoliosis and spine surgery at the University of Virginia. He is currently a professor of orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery and the chief of orthopedic spine surgery at an Ivy League medical school in Pennsylvania.
