Expert Qualifications
Dr. William G. Cushard Jr has 55 years of experience in the fields of Internal Medicine and Nuclear Medicine. He earned his BA from the University of Maryland, College Park and his MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed an internship in Medicine at Charity Hospital and a residency in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania before going on to complete a fellowship in Endocrinology at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center and a fellowship in Metabolic Diseases at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Today, this expert is board certified in Nuclear Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. Formerly, this expert served as the Assistant Director of the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Mercy General Hospital and as a Staff Endocrinologist at David Grant USAF Medical Center. He currently serves as a Physician in Private Practice, as Volunteer Clinical Faculty at the UC Davis School of Medicine, and as a Clinical Professor of Medicine at California Northstate University College of Medicine.
