Expert Qualifications
Dr. Jeffrey Edwards has over 45 years of experience in Aviation Safety. He earned his BA from Miami University of Ohio, his MA from Ohio State University, and his Ph.D. from Saint Louis University. Today, this expert is a Certified Flight Instructor, an Airline Transport Pilot, a Ground Instructor, a Remote Pilot, and a Repairman Experimental Aircraft Builder, all through the Federal Aviation Administration. He is also a Master Instructor Emeritus through the National Association of Flight Instructors. Formerly, this expert served as a Naval Officer in the US Navy and as a Senior Project Engineer at both Boeing and McDonnell Douglas Aerospace. Currently, this expert is the President and Founder of AvSafe, LLC where he consults on the topics of Aviation Safety, Accident Investigations, and Reconstruction.
