Expert Qualifications
This expert has over 30 years of experience in manufacturing practices and development in the pharmaceutical industry. He received his BS in pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island, followed by his PhD in pharmaceutics from the University of Utah. He began his career in the areas of product develoment and drug delivery at the Upjohn Company, where he contributed to the development and registration efforts of multiple drugs. Following this, he held various positions at Pfizer, as well as directing drug delivery, product development and manufacturing practices at Eisai Inc. His most recent positions were as the senior vice president of pharmaceutical development at Pacira Pharmaceuticals, the head of the drug delivery group at MedImmune, and the vice president of chemistry, manufacturing and controls at Omeros. he is currently a pharmaceutical development and manufacturing consultant, where he assesses manufacturing facilities, controls and regulatory filings.
