This case involves the will of a woman who passed away and left the majority of her estate to her two sons and a portion to her second husband. The second husband later produced a document alleging it was a revised version of his late wife’s will signed several weeks before her passing. The document in question designated almost the entire estate to the second husband. An expert in handwriting was sought to examine both documents and determine if the second signature was forged.
I have reviewed similar cases in the past. In this case, I would need 7-10 signature samples of the deceased, preferably written around the time the deceased would have signed the documents in question. Additionally, if you have a suspect, his/her signature samples and any numerals the suspect has written would be helpful as well.
