Determining speed depends entirely on what evidence there is available, unless an ECM (blackbox) output has been obtained. Even without an ECM, there is a good probability of determining speed. I specifically handle 3D computer simulations/animations of auto versus bicycle accidents. I have more than twenty-six years of full time experience in accident reconstruction, safety, and forensic engineering. I have investigated, analyzed, and reconstructed more than three thousand accidents. I have supervised and trained many engineers and physicists in the field of forensic engineering.
