Dr. Wendy Ketner is the Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs at Expert Institute. Dr. Ketner graduated with a bachelor's degree from Yale University and a medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. Dr. Ketner completed her training at Mount Sinai Beth Isreal where she participated in all aspects of general surgery, including routine hernia repairs, cholecystectomies, and appendectomies. She also performed mastectomies for breast cancer, and breast reconstruction, surgical oncology procedures, vascular surgery, including endovascular and open abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, colorectal surgery for benign and malignant disease, as well as taking care of critically ill patients in the surgical intensive care unit. Her research was in post-mastectomy reconstruction and the surgical treatment of gastric cancer, on which she co-authored a textbook chapter. She also has a paper on the percutaneous delivery of stem cells after myocardial infarction.
